Marketing Your Business – FREE Online Training

Getting started in an online business, or marketing your business online can be very daunting for a new business builder. If you go online looking for answers you are likely to get swamped with e.mails with the “perfect answer” when you are not even sure what the question is. Or you can join the “feeding frenzy” of people who are trying to get started and looking for their first customer.

The problem is that you do not even know what you need to know, or do, or expect. It would be very easy to spend money to purchase courses, but how do you know if that is what you need?

A number of programs are now available to help newbies to create their presence online, with different techniques, and approaches. It can be confusing to even choosing which program you should take. Common techniques that you will learn about are article writing, joining Facebook, and other social websites, creating videos, starting your own blog or website, finding your niche, branding yourself, and becoming a leader. Phew!

Your experience (or lack of) with internet, and the computer are both going to affect the amount of training, and support you will require when starting your online business. Some programs presume that you have prior knowledge and you will be out of your depth as soon as you sign up. I tested one of these sites by paying for the trial of 2 weeks for a dollar. I soon found that I had to sign up for several other sites and they always recommended the premium option. In other words I soon found myself being asked to pay $200 here, $50 there, $150 somewhere else, as well as pay the monthly membership cost. And to make it worse, there was an expectation that you had previous experience. (And an unlimited bank account!)

Are you concerned that you will not have the skills you need to build an online business? Are you concerned about how much you will have to spend to get yourself online? Does everyone else seem to be a 20 year old computer geek/guru? Would you like to “try before you buy”? Would you like to check out the quality of the training? Will it get you to where you are going?

One site that you can go to right now, yes now, and get the chance to access some immediate FREE training is Renegade University. You will find out how to get started -for free. You will learn about attraction marketing, attracting prospects, web presence, and best of all it will be done step-by-step video training which you can pause, repeat and watch again until you have mastered each technique.

If you want to get started, for free, and find out what you need to know to build your online business, check out Renegade University and take those important first steps at no cost.

Have a wonder-filled day.

Want To Start Your Own Business, But Not Sure How?

Getting started in a new business can be very stressful...

And don't forget nerve-wracking!

You have thought about what you want to do,

you have checked out your finances,

and worked out how many hours a day you have available to start your business.

That does not change the fact that you are stepping out into new territory.

How do I know what to do?

Is there someone who can help me get started?

I don't even know what I don't know!

I just know I want to get started and make it happen.

It is very exciting.

You have a dream you want to achieve...

a lifestyle you want to improve...

and a desire to test your limits and get the “juice” out of your life

One very popular home based business is network marketing.

Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosake, and Randy Gage have all put their “stamp of approval” on network marketing as a home business with the potential to earn some very serious money.

One of the reasons Robert recommends network marketing is the support, the training and the valuable personal development you get while building your business.

I have spoken to friends who are still working in the corporate world and they are being sent to courses, by their employers, at great expense,

and learning the same skills I am learning through my team training.

What do you want to achieve by working from home?

Personal and financial freedom...

This is the way to do it.

Stay at home and watch your kids grow up...

That is one of the great pleasures

that so many network marketing business owners talk about.

School plays without taking time off work.

Help out on the school trips.

Pick your child up from school and chat about their day,

and find out what they discovered in science class.

Are you worried about how much you will have to invest to start up a new bsuiness?

Network marketing offers a cost effective method of business establishment.

You don't have to fill up your garage,

or risk your own money buying products for your customers.

Internet has made it possible for your clients to do their own shopping, with their own credit card.

If this is “ticking all the boxes” for you, contact me now for a no-obligation chat. I would love to find out what you want to achieve in your new business.

What is your big dream? Your vision?

What do you want your business to enable you to do?

Pay for your childrens education?

Allow you to make a difference in other people's lives?

Improve your quality of life?

By working in a business that has leveraged income, you will see your options increase as you gain increased income and time.

As your team grows you will get the chance to take time away from your business to fulfil your dreams.

To find out more about how it all works, click this link, fill out the form and I will be in touch with you to discuss your plans.

Why am I doing this business?

I started it because I wanted to work from home, as I was not enjoying the restrictions of being an employee.I also knew that I could not (financially or time-wise) achieve what I wanted to achieve.

Why am I still doing this business?

My health has improved, I have discovered what I love to do, and I bounce out of bed in the morning knowing exactly what I want to do, and doing it. I am making a difference in the lives of other people, and I am starting to work on a number of dreams that I had previously only talked about.

Are you ready to make a change in your life, make your dreams possible, and truly find what makes you passionate for life? Contact me now and tell me what you want out of your life.

Have a wonder-filled day.

What Do I Need To Know Before I Start Working From Home?

When you start working from home, you are probably moving out of the arena of being an "employee" and becoming a "small business owner" or "self employed" or "investor" . It is critical that you know how you are getting paid for your services. As an employee, you knew that your employer had the responsibility of paying your cheque on payday. If you are running your own business, you are  now responsible for the financial side of the business.

Things to consider include:

  • Are you being paid as an employee, or are you an investor, self employed, or a business owner?
  • How does this money affect any other income that you earn or receive?
  • What are your tax obligations?
  • Find out about the tax benefits you can claim from working from home.
  • What deadlines do you have to meet for tax payments or declarations?
  • Should you employ a tax consultant, or accountant, or book-keeper?
  • Find out the best way of setting up a business bank account, business credit card, and payment sites.
  • Get advice on the best way to protect your business, set up a company and protect your family property in case of bankruptcy.

To understand the different income producing methods, read a book such as Robert Kiyosake's “Cashflow Quadrant” to understand income and wealth.

Don't get put off by the financial obligations. Once you understand them it will become second nature to keep receipts and record mileage.

If you are in the right business for you, it will be worth the effort.

And to clarify for the gentleman who came into my office one day, when asked about income, “under the table” is not a legitimate tax bracket. If you have a business you love, you don't want it spoiled by tax investigators asking for your “second set of books”.

Have a wonder-filled day.

Finding A Small Business – Where Do I Start?

If you have searched online, you will know that there is no shortage of potential business opportunities. You may have sought information, or even signed up and then felt let down or misled by a company, and walked away. You can be 100% certain that there are millions of shiny websites, fabulous lead pages, 100% auto-turnkey no-work businesses all over the web. These companies pay money to have these sites looking their best and attract customers. Your job is to know what you want to do, and focus on what is right for you.

So how do you decide?

As I suggested in my post So You Want To Work From home? get to know yourself, know what you really want to do, and know why you are looking for work.

If you are looking for short term local income and want to do a physical job such as gardening, or house painting, you are more likely to find this work in local job-seeker websites, or in your local paper or community boards.

If you are looking for typing, data entry, article writing or ghost-writing work, research this type of work online and offline.

  • Local businesses and training facilities may be looking for typists.
  • Job banks and agencies may be looking for temp typists.
  • Look for sites that teach you how to find these freelance jobs.
  • Check out www.squidoo.com or www.hubpages.com for ideas.
  • If you are being asked to sign up to be able to access a site, find out why you need to pay.
  • Are there other sites that offer the same service for free?
  • Look for reviews on the quality of the sites.
  • If you are being asked to pay, do they say what you will get for that fee?
  • Who collects the payment for the job?
  • Do they have a money back guarantee?
  • If you are not living in the US, you may have difficulty making money filling out surveys.

You do not want to give away your last dollar to an "all talk-no action" site which does not meet your needs.

Do you want to market yourself online, but work offline?

  • You can produce art or photography which you promote on an online gallery.
  • If you have a trade such as plumber or electrician, a website can be used to attract local customers.
  • Internet is being used more and more for education and communication globally. Music lessons, tutoring, and business meetings are three ways that people communicate online.

Do you want to spend most of your time online, marketing, socialize in social media sites, writing e.books or software, or marketing affiliate products?

  • If you have decided you want to go down this track, work out what you want to do.
  • Decide whether you want to do all the work yourself, or outsource.
  • Get very clear about where you need to begin.
  • Be very aware of "shiny objects", and read the description of any training you decide to buy.

Consider getting a mentor or coach to guide you through the process.

Have a wonder-filled day.

What Do You Need To Know Before You Start Working From Home?

So You Want To Work From Home?

Working from home is a very broad umbrella for a massive industry around the world. In 2004 the US Census reported 25 million businesses with no employees. That is, people like you and me working by, and for, ourselves, often from home. Surprisingly, this is greater than the 19 million firms with employees reported over the same time period.

What does working from home mean for you as an individual?

People start their own business for so many different reasons.

These include:

  • jobs for Mums at home after the children are born
  • a desire to be your own boss
  • a talent that can be marketed such as singing or design
  • unemployment
  • top-up income at the end of your working day.

The reasons for starting a business and working from home are probably as limitless as the types of businesses that exist.

So how do you decide what you want to do at home?

Carefully!

Your decision depends on:

  • your circumstances
  • your finances and resources,
  • whether you want to earn short term cash to help you catch up with your debts
  • or you want to fulfill a dream such as creating your own brand of children's clothing. What starts out as a small, one-person business could end up as a huge, publically listed company with your brand name on it.

What are the benefits of working from home?

These are different for each of us, but common reasons include:

  • creating passive or leveraged income
  • making money while caring for your children at home
  • freedom of time and finances
  • escaping the corporate life
  • less stress.

You will know why you are attracted to working from home, or starting your own home business. To be certain this is for you, especially if you are planning to build a business and create your own brand, it is very important to know your dream, set goals, and be sure that what you are planning is within your strengths and right for your personality.

If you are looking at your options, but still confused:

  • Check out my my blog posts series Create YOUR Extraordinary Life starting with Create YOUR Life. In that section you will discover different ways to get to know yourself.
  • Getting to know your personality can help you to discover what you are more attracted to.
  • Learn more about your personality by taking one or more quizzes in What's my Type?.
  • Download my FREE e.book by filling in the form on this page.
  • Check out Steve Little to find out what your entrepreneurial strengths are.
  • Look at the skills you already have.
  • What are your hobbies?
  • Have you had an experience that you feel strongly about, and want to get involved in i.e. a political or environmental issue, or family support group?
  • Talk to a careers advisor or a friend who will be honest with you.
  • Get a coach.
  • Seek out a mentor.

How will you know when you have discovered what you are looking for?

You will:

  • get excited
  • energized
  • start to make plans
  • possibly get really scared about what you are going to take on!

I now use panic as a measure! The more I scare myself the more I know I am on the right direction.

Just the other day, I did an exercise with my coach and we looked at my life vision. I had said for years that I wanted to do a large project that was important to me, but I had never written a vision statement, or set down goals to achieve it. I realized that for the first time that I was starting to turn one large dream into reality, and it took my breath away.

It made me ask myself if I really wanted to do it. And the answer was a resounding “YES”.

Have a wonder-filled day.
